Chris’s experience post amputation has spurned a desire to come along side amputees to help them reclaim their quality of life. Chris developed his career as an auto mechanic and later as a service manager. Following a traumatic motor vehicle accident, he was able to transfer his skills to the prosthetic community as an above knee amputee. Starting off as a prosthetic technician 16 years ago, he became a certified peer visitor and patient advocate. Chris currently serves as a patient care coordinator.
When he’s not at work, Chris enjoys an active lifestyle including dirt bike riding, skiing, boating and fishing.
Chris, a patient care coordinator and peer visitor, originally started his career as an auto mechanic and service manager. Following a traumatic motor vehicle accident Chris became an above the knee amputee. The post amputation experience spurned a desire to come along side amputees helping them reclaim their quality of life. Not wanting to stop there, Chris soon worked to transfer his knowledge and skills to the prosthetic community. He became a prosthetic technician 16 years ago, earning his certification as a peer visitor and patient advocate shortly after.
