Eric Katz
CPO, LPO
Orthotists/Prosthetist
Eric was introduced to prosthetics and orthotics when he was a teenager. He was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis during his Freshman year of High School, leaving him as an incomplete paraplegic. Always an athlete, Eric continued his passion for sports, which lead him to play Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Track at the University of Arizona. His teammates had all types of disabilities and amputations. Intrigued by these individuals and their assistive devices, Eric began volunteering at local Orthotic and Prosthetic companies in AZ, NJ, and NYC. He soon realized it was a perfect fit and further pursued his career by attending the Newington Certificate Program/University of Connecticut for both Prosthetics and Orthotics. Eric is known for his ability to relate with patients, giving each of them individualized, unhurried care. He has over ten years of experience in the field and has been recognized as a lower extremity prosthetic specialist in NJ.
