Sean Ensel
Patient Care Coordinator
Sean Ensel has been an above the knee amputee for over 32 years. He understands the pain and discomfort amputees can encounter following surgery and while trying to gain their independence back. His frustration dealing with companies that did not understand the struggles of an amputee led Sean to change careers and become a Prosthetic Technician in 2004.
Sean currently works as our Patient Care Coordinator making sure every patient gets the care they deserve. He provides a level of comfort that is formed from being able to relate with the patient’s situation. He helps create a positive mindset through observation which is critical in the beginning stages of therapy. Sean promises to keep his fellow amputee informed throughout the fabrication process.
Sean is a proud father of three children and three grandsons, all of which keep him very active teaching sports. Sean is always on the go camping, enjoying the outdoor life, and dealing with all the curve balls life can throw at him. Sean also volunteers his time testing prosthetic knees and feet with numerous developers in the industry to stay current on advancements in today’s technology.
