Roy Aungst, Allcare Prosthetics & Orthotics

Roy W. Aungst

CPO, C-PED
Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist, Certified Pedorthi

Roy is an American Board Certified Prosthetist / Orthotist / Pedorthotist, and is fully licensed by the state of New Jersey. He has been in the industry since 1994, and was initially trained as a lab technician. After developing the necessary hand-skills and gaining the knowledge required to design and fabricate prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices, he naturally decided to pursue the next challenge of becoming a clinical practitioner, which would qualify him to work directly with patients.

Roy completed his coursework and training at Rutgers University in New Brunswick N.J. and earned his Prosthetic certification in 2000. He further extended his professional training by attending the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and earned his Cped certification in 2001. Then, in 2003 he completed his training by earning his final certification in Orthotics.

Over the years, he has developed many strong relationships with his patients, while tackling the unique challenge of directly helping them improve their quality of life by overcoming their injury or disability.

Roy is married, has two sons, and a rescue dog named Newton. Outside of the workplace, he enjoys being a Philly-sports fan, custom-woodworking, home brewing, exercising, cooking/eating good food, relaxing on the beach, but most importantly spending time with his family and friends.
